Landing Gear Lever
The Landing Gear Lever provides electrical signals to the two Landing Gear Control Interface Units (LGCIUs) which control the green hydraulic supply.
INTERLOCK MECHANISM - An interlock mechanism prevents anyone from accidentally retracting the gear while the airplane is on the ground. It does so by locking the lever in the down position when either main gear's shock absorber is compressed or the nose wheel steering is not centered.
UP - The UP position retracts landing gear. When the gear doors open, the main wheels are automatically braked by the normal brake system.
DOWN - The DOWN position extends the landing gear.
